some corner of memorabilia

"I keep wanting to crumple up or fold like a piece of paper,
but I guess I don't even know how.
We keep walking through our days like ghosts
Hoping to take the mold and find traction.
Someday it will stop raining in your head
And you will see a little bird,
And you will save it.
And you will have found happiness." - Maria

Hello - I met someone at a GWAR concert Friday Night who gave me this URL - he called himself Anthony, not Harry Merkin - but based on what I've seen I think this is the same writer. Some sharp scribbling abounds here – I must & will come back for more.

I was the old drunk reading Saul Williams under the coat rack. I called myself Ken but I guess that name doesn't come up much in my online world either. My radio blog is:
http://navalaviationinaudio.blogspot.com. I also have a word blog at
http://ken11fox.livejournal.com/, with a write-up on a past GWAR concert posted at November 27, 2007. Right around that time you were writing something called ergo simulacra, which for some reason was the first thing that came up when I searched for your site & rolls off the tongue like solid ropes of reality, spectacular dream dipped in rank blackness. Peace, Ken

Yep. This is broken Tony. The mash pit was fun until I awoke to a bum knee and wickedly sore shoulder but these are what one would call the "scars of life" I guess (or is it scorns? Haha)

Keep in touch Ken.

The trials and tribulations of attending a GWAR show and proactively contributing in a mosh pit at my age. In other words, I somehow managed to fall on my shoulder and it’s never felt the same. Hence the ‘broken’ in the Anthony. Lesson to learn from? The old and experienced should never disregard the vigour of youth (or was it the vigour of booze? haha)

At your age? amuse me.

I've already built a certain image of you in my head. Let's see how right i am, or wrong.

At any age to be in the mosh pit is impressive. I've always had the luxury to be in the pit and watch all the craziness as i shoot. At best i have had mic cords wrapped around me and took a security elbow to the face. But it was nothing.

As for "scars of life" - I actually broke a rib in 2009 at a D.O.A. concert. Too old for this shit? Yes, perhaps a little ...
